Not less than 25 people have reportedly been killed by suspected herdsmen in another attack in Plateau State.
The incident which happened in Dundu village, Kwall District in Bassa Local Government Area of the state, reportedly led to the death of 19 men, 3 women and 3 children.
The incident comes a few days after five people were killed in a violence linked to tensions over grazing rights in the state.
“The gunmen were believed to be herdsmen. They attacked some communities in Miango district and killed five people,” state police spokesman Terna Tyopev said.
He said dozens of people were injured while many houses and properties were destroyed in the mayhem.
