Blaqbonez Returns with 'NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME' Featuring Asake, Victony and Ruger

The rapper's fourth studio album runs 15 tracks and close to 39 minutes.

Rapper Blaqbonez released his fourth studio album, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME, on October 16, 2026, through Chocolate City Music. The 15-track project runs a little under 39 minutes and arrived on a crowded Friday for Nigerian music.

The album includes guest appearances from Asake, Victony, Ruger, TML Vibez, Igwe Aka and Monochrome, a list that mixes chart-topping singers with newer voices.

A rapper who blends genres

Blaqbonez first made his name as a battle-tested rapper, famously branding himself the best rapper in Africa, before winning a wider audience with catchy, melodic singles that cross over into Afropop. His earlier work, including the 2021 album Sex Over Love, balanced humour and bravado with more personal storytelling.

The new title, with its playful nickname and reference to a “4th prime”, suggests a confident artist marking a new phase of his career.

Key points

  • Album: NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME, 15 tracks, about 38-39 minutes.
  • Release date: October 16, 2026.
  • Label: Chocolate City Music.
  • Guests: Asake, Victony, Ruger, TML Vibez, Igwe Aka, Monochrome.

A busy release day

The album came out on the same day as Fireboy DML’s ZUKO!, one week after FOLA’s 9 and Tobe Nwigwe’s The Bridge. The run of major releases is typical of the fourth quarter, when Nigerian artists often drop projects ahead of the December “Detty December” concert season, when many artists return home to perform.

Background

Chocolate City, the label behind the release, has been home to influential Nigerian rap and pop acts for two decades, and Blaqbonez is among its most visible current stars. His ability to move between hard-hitting rap and radio-friendly hooks has helped him reach audiences that do not usually listen to hip-hop. Guest spots from Asake and Ruger in particular are expected to draw street-pop fans to the album.

Listeners will be keen to see which songs from the album make it into the live sets and club playlists of the coming months.
