The South African lady, Karabo Mokoena, who was allegedly killed and burnt by her boyfriend has been laid to rest.
A memorial was held for Karabo at the Diepkloof hall in Soweto on Friday.
Friends and family wore long faces and cried uncontrollably at the interment of the 22-year-old.
Karabo’s boyfriend, Sandile Kagiso Mantsoe, is facing murder charges after he allegedly killed her and dumped her burnt remains in a veld in Lyndhurst, Johannesburg, in April.
The couple had reportedly dated for seven months before the incident.
CCTV footage reportedly showed Mantsoe’s family helping him clean his apartment after he committed the crime.
