Lawal said the suspects were arrested following an intelligence report.

Four suspected kidnap kingpins disguising as commercial bus drivers were paraded by the police in Edo State on Wednesday.

The Deputy Commissioner of police in the state, Danjuma Muhammad Lawal, identified the suspects as Okon Friday, 27; Ikechukwu Emmanuel, 35; Godspower Ezemine, 28; and Fred Ehaza, 25.

Lawal said they were arrested following an intelligence report.

One of the suspects, Ezemine said he joined the gang because he needed money for the burial of his late mom.

Okon, on his part, admitted that they were raping their victims and blamed the devil. Ehaza, however, denied ever raping victims.

Lawal said the suspects would be charged to court after the investigation.
